Managing Director, Western & Southern Europe
Neil Coales is the managing director of ISG’s Western and Southern Europe (WSE) business. The WSE head office is based in Paris and provides fit out and refurbishment services for a variety of customers working across a range of sectors, including office, retail and hospitality. After launching operations in France in 1989, Neil was instrumental in launching new ISG offices in Italy, Spain and the Netherland, while expanding the business in France from five people to 75.
Neil, who is member of the Chartered Institute of Building, Institution of Directors and Association of Value Engineers, has worked on a multitude of high profile projects in the civil engineering, retail, luxury retail and hotel sectors. He has acted as cost manager for culturally important projects such as the Channel Tunnel and the Tate Modern in London. He has successfully delivered 12 projects in six countries for Google, set up and negotiated the framework agreement for Western Union, and delivered 26 projects for Manpower across Europe.
A fluent French and English speaker, Neil has delivered and managed client expectations and projects throughout European, including Portugal, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Luxembourg and further afield in Turkey, Russia and across Asia. Talking about his role, Neil says he adds real value to customer expectation and provides industry-leading knowledge for our multinational clients.
